Project Description:	We need to have a modern rewrite of our website www.crabpot.co.uk The site is a portal for a small geographical area in S.E. Cornwall UK. The aim is to promote the area and provide a service for accommodation providers and other businesses with links to attractions and services. Static pages show the area and things to see and do with a map and link to weather pages. At present we list approx 150 providers (but this must be scalable) under the following categories 1. Houses, Flats and Chalets to Let, Bed and Breakfast, Pub and Hotel Accommodation Camping and Caravanning, Eating Out, Shops & Services. 2. Attractions & Places to Visit, Clubs & Organizations, Friends & Associated sites The main reason for the rewrite is to get a non frames site which is SEO friendly and at the same time offer a better searchable database of providers. We envisage that this would be achieved by setting up a CMS system to manage providers with admin login for all content approval, changes and the ability to promote. Plus owner login by password. Section 1. above would have the ability to list there own details and billing address as agents and properties or services as applicable, showing a simple description and photo or logo for listing purposes and a more detailed description and up to 10 photos with the option of availability calendar, Offers, facilities and tariff. This information would of course be slightly different dependant of which sub category they fall into. This would also have link to own website (if applicable) and contact details. CAPTCHA Required. The database created by this would be searchable by the end user from dropdown or tick boxes Section 2. would be simple listings and links to websites updated by admin only. We do have a licensed PHP script provided by www.phpmyrealty.com which is hosted and live using a separate URL this could be adapted to our needs, an example of what can be achieved with this script can be seen at www.bonvon.co.uk This is obviously overkill and if you would rather provide your own coding this would be OK. The present site has been in existence for more than 10 years and we would like to keep any incoming links intact. - URL rewrite is desirable. Although this is a stand alone site for a limited niche market, we have identified several other areas with similar high proportion of holiday homes and we would like the facility to adapt this site with appropriate static pages and urls if we decide to expand. The interfaces between the site and the owners or end user must be simple and clean without slow loading gizmos. We use QuickBooks 2008 for billing and any integration would be useful but not essential We are open to any suggestions or additions to the above We are happy to utilize any existing open-source software tools already in popular use (Reservation Calendars, Blog, Forums, , Photo Galleries, RSS, Dynamic Sitemap and so on) If you think they may be helpful. Please provide details of existing projects and references which will be taken up. We look forward to working with you
